These terms and conditions apply to the Jobpadi web application and related services (including Telegram-based job alert delivery), operated by Nwinyinya David (collectively, the “Application”). Nwinyinya David is hereby referred to as the “Service Provider”.

By creating an account or using the Application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Application.

License to use the Application

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Application for personal, non-commercial job-seeking purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or disassemble the Application or its underlying job data pipeline, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.

Intellectual Property

The Service Provider retains all intellectual property rights in the Application, including its code, design, curated job-listing database, trademarks, and branding (the “IP”). Nothing in these Terms grants you any license or right to use the Service Provider’s trademarks, logos, or branding for any purpose.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Application and be legally permitted to seek employment in the jurisdiction relevant to any listing you engage with. By using the Application, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Subscription Plans and Billing

Jobpadi offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (Basic, Standard, Pro), each providing a different daily quota of job alerts. Current pricing is displayed on the Application at the time of subscription.

Payments are processed securely through Paystack. The Service Provider does not store your card details.
Paid plans renew automatically each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
Prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and may change with reasonable prior notice.
If a renewal payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan until payment succeeds.
Refunds, where applicable, are governed by the Service Provider’s separate Refund Policy.

Job Listings Disclaimer

Job listings delivered through the Application are collected from publicly available sources, including social media platforms. The Service Provider does not create, verify, or endorse these listings and makes no guarantee as to their accuracy, availability, or legitimacy. The Service Provider is not a party to, and bears no responsibility for, any employment relationship, application process, or communication between you and any employer or job poster. You are solely responsible for exercising judgment when applying to any listing, and the Service Provider strongly advises against paying money to any prospective employer as a condition of applying or being hired.

Telegram Delivery

By connecting your Telegram account, you authorize the Service Provider to send you job alert messages via the Telegram Bot API. You may disconnect your Telegram account at any time from your dashboard. The Service Provider is not responsible for delivery failures caused by Telegram’s platform, your device or account settings, or your blocking of the bot.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Application for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or access controls
Use another person’s account without permission
Submit false information or engage in fraudulent payment activity, including bad-faith chargebacks
Scrape, copy, or redistribute the Application’s job-listing database

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

Termination

The Service Provider may suspend your access if you materially breach these Terms, and will generally provide notice with an opportunity to remedy the breach where the breach is capable of cure. However, the Service Provider may suspend or terminate your access immediately without notice where you violate applicable law, engage in fraud, or engage in activity that could harm other users or the Service Provider.

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Application ends immediately.

Service Availability

The Application requires an active internet connection for certain functions. The Service Provider is not responsible for service interruptions caused by your internet connectivity, device issues, or Telegram’s platform availability. Standard data charges from your internet or mobile provider may apply and are your responsibility.

Force Majeure

The Service Provider shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, internet or telecommunications outages, third-party platform failures (including Telegram, Paystack, or cloud infrastructure providers), government actions, or public health emergencies.

Artificial Intelligence Use

The Application uses AI language models as part of its internal pipeline to classify and filter job listings collected from public sources before delivery to users. This processing applies to job-listing content and does not involve automated decision-making about you personally.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is provided “as is” and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost income, lost opportunity, or damages arising from your interactions with any third-party employer or job poster, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of your breach of these Terms or your intentional misuse of the Application.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Fulfillment & Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Service Provider concerning your use of the Application. They supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.

No Waiver

The Service Provider’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by the Service Provider.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while reflecting the original intent as closely as possible.

Changes to the Application

The Service Provider may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Application at any time. The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Application.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Lagos State, Nigeria.

Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
